Tiger mom is a mother who is overbearing and who uses extreme methods to push her children to succeed.

b. Give two examples, from this section, that illustrate a Tiger Mom.

2a. Give one research finding that shows that Westerners and Chinese parents have different styles.

One research indicate that Chinese parents spend 10 time more time each day on academic activities with their children then westerner parents.

b. What is the general difference between the two parenting styles according to the findings. (Infer your answer). Answer in English.

The general differences between the 2 groups of mothers are:
Western mothers are less stringent with their children when it comes to
schooling and meticulousness, compared to Chinese mothers who are
more stringent with their children and more rigorous in school discipline.

3. Explain the cycle, (according to Chinese parenting) that results from hard work.
The strategy of Chinese mothers says that if children work harder and achieve better results then they will have the desire to try harder and succeed.
