Introduction The Interdisciplinary Center ("IDC") is a private, non-for-profit institution that was founded in 1994. The proposed plan is to insert a mandatory physical activity class into the curriculum of students at the IDC. As the IDC is developing and becoming a leading academic institution, we believe there is potential for this plan to succeed; attracting more future students and providing added value to the regular curriculum. Research shows that physical activity impacts a person's mood and assists in reducing stress. It enables humans to fight against depression, anxiety and symptoms of sickness. When a student is in an academic environment such as yours, a porthole is needed through which as much stress as possible will be eliminated. A student's routine is extremely inactive and with the stress of exams and projects, a person can suffer from high levels of anxiety. A physically active lifestyle will lead to a joyful being. We believe that the student's lifestyle choices will likely show a demand and want for such a program, which may include many sorts of activities.
Preliminary research has shown that implementation of such a program has been highly successful in T.A and Haifa Universities.
The purpose of our research was to check the market's willingness at the IDC and demand for this "product". We are living in a time where physical fitness is well known for its benefits. More than half of the population is physical active on a regular basis. Competition in the sports arena is high and gyms and sports centers which are free of charge are available in people's surroundings. These factors raise the question of whether demand will be reasonably high enough to cause implementation of such a sports program. The target audience for our product, and so for our research, were all students at the IDC. Our research problem was to find whether potential demand for this type of program existed.
In the following research we tried to assess the market's willingness and interest in introducing a mandatory physical education program into next year's curriculum.
In the following paper, we will be revealing the results of our research to detail, providing you with exact numbers, graphs and other illustrations.
We will then provide you with our analysis of the data, and conclusions and recommendations regarding your project.  To sum up, we will provide you with some interesting articles which may help you with the project, and some future suggestions for improvement and control procedures we recommend using.
