In order to prevent sexual harassment in a workplace a company should take a number of actions. First, and probably the most important is educating the entire company – from management to suppliers, that the company has a non-tolerance policy towards unappropriated behavior.   Giving the employees up to date information regarding what is not acceptable and guidelines for proper behavior will lead to a fear free work environment. key steps that a company can take in order to prevent sexual harassment:
understating what exactly sexual harassment is and why it happens, constantly evaluating the work environment, educating the staff, choosing the right resource person and following through. Question 2
Confronting the issue of sexual harassment will assure the manager that incidents will be a kept to minimum. A company that confronts these issues will have a safer work environment for all the workers. It is in the company's interest to provide a safe work environment where both men and women can be free of fear while interacting with each other. This will lead to a better atmosphere, positive and relaxed, and will boost productivity and profits.
