Abstract—Blockchain is a distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties without the need of intermediary. These transactions can be goods, contracts and any other kind of value. The World Economic Forum expecting that by 2025, 10 percent of the world’s GDP will be on the blockchain technology. In these days the technological changes occur faster and faster, one day you are taking a picture with a film camera on the other day you are taking a picture with a smartphone and the film camera company not exists anymore. Organizations that will not be prepared for technological changes can suffer irreparable damage. In this paper we will provide estimation for growth of blockchain technology. This estimation will help to the companies in the industry and to the academic community be better prepared to the possible effects and changes of this technology.
